“Today, 28th July, was a day of discernment and prayer for the election of the Superior General.
We began the day invoking the Holy Spirit with Mary to make us remain open to the will of God.
The day has given us the fruit of our prayer and we have a new General Superior.
Sister Franca Zonta was elected for a second turn.
All the members of the General Chapter, with great joy , gave thanks to Mother Franca for her availability and service to the Congregation.”
Sr. Franca is also a member of the UISG Executive Board.
