XIIth General Chapter that the Little Missionary Sisters of Charity (Don Orione)
“To give oneself completely to God, to be completely given to the neighbour! PSMC: missionary disciples, joyful witnesses to charity in the suburbs of the world”
is the theme of the XIIth General Chapter that the Little Missionary Sisters of Charity (Don Orione) will celebrate from 1st to 29th May at the General House in Rome. With an open attitude to the challenges of the anthropological turning point and to the cultural realities in which they are present, the General Chapter of the PSMC will be an important time to evaluate the journey made over the past 6 years.
It will also be useful to analyze, reflect and discern priorities and lines of action for the period 2017-2023, and to elect sisters who will animate the life and mission of the Institute in the next six years. “The General Chapter is, first of all and foremost, an event of the Holy Spirit for the life of our Institute. It is also a great time of grace, in which we are called to renew the fecundity of our charism, the prophetic power of our vocation and mission as daughters of Don Orione, and the evangelizing boost of our lives, works and services in the Church and in the world”. The above was said by Mother M. Mabel Spagnuolo, Superior General of the PSMC, in her convocation letter to the Chapter.
